Your mission is to simplify and accelerate Rakuten's data experience and offer best-in-class experiences to Rakuten's Data stakeholders. You will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch, seamlessly connecting the technical and business worlds. Your ability to break down complex problems into actionable steps will be crucial in driving product development and innovation. You will collaborate with leadership and across teams such as Consumer Product, engineering, marketing, and data Analyst to lead a roadmap with impactful product improvements.Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy and Vision: Partner with Product, Engineering and Data leads to develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with overall company goals.
  • Cross Functional Prioritization: Build effective relationships with key partners in and collaborate closely with them on roadmap prioritization.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the product development process.
  • Comfortable applying a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to define success.
  • Demonstrated passion and experience in one or more of the following technologies: Data Catalogs, Data Lineage, Knowledge Graphs, Data Discovery & Governance practices.
  • Insatiable curiosity to learn new domains, keep up with industry innovation, and constantly ask 'why'.
  • Excellent communication skills; timely communication with clear expectations.
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of bigger and smaller bets while balancing short-term goals and long-term vision.
  • Strong track record of shipping successful, innovative products that resonate with consumers.
  • Passion for creating products that impact millions of users and drive business growth.
  • A healthy blend of technical depth and deep domain expertise with a customer-focused mindset.Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in a technology or business-related field, required.
    • 3+ years of domain experience in the Data domain.
    • 5+ years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, finance, and other stakeholders.
    • Prior experience in retail/eCommerce is a plus.Minimum Requirements:
